In addition to screen printing and mural painting, I also manage a community art studio called Dinderbeck in Grand Rapids, MI. Founded in 2010, Dinderbeck is a 3,100 square foot, membership based community art studio that operates as a collective. We have screen printing capabilities for both paper and appareal, including a large UV exposure light table and washout sink. We currently have 11 members practicing a wide range of artistic mediums such as traditional painting, sign painting, graphic design, screen and block printing, woodworking, and even stained glass. The studio is a mixture of shared space and resources, but we also have three private offices and six desk spaces where artists can have their own work zone.
Dinderbeck is volunteer run by the mebers that it serves. We are constantly building and upgrading our space, with the goal of being able to offer more desk spaces and potentially an additional office or two. Our goal has always been to help artists achieve their goals, we've been an incubator space for people who are following their dreams of making art for a living. Past members have gone on to open their own stores, produce work for national clients, and have been able to completely make a living from practicing their craft.

Our wood shop is a mess right now, but we’re in the process of tearing the whole thing apart and rebuilding it to optimize storage and workable space.
